In today’s world of 24/7 social media and gaming, where anything extreme gets attention and becomes successful, boys and young men are now flooded with distorted pictures and ideas of what being successful means today. 

And it’s a problem.

Understanding how boys and young men are bombarded, from an early age, by these distorted ideas of what being a successful man is, can help us support healthier, real development that will spare them, and many around them, from unnecessary suffering.

Our course aims to: 

  • Give an overview of mental health and how it is presented in boys and young men
  • Provide an expert understanding of the unique challenges young men face online in areas such as persuasive design, push technology and algorithms, influencers and sextortion
  • Share practical ideas that help parents to counter disinformation, build resilience and open up conversations
